Thanks for all the info everyone. Sounds like my uncle and I will be out there on Saturday in the pits. We will be walking around the pits checking things out so if you see us feel free to introduce yourself. champs have to run burris tires either B55As or SS-55s, gear wise is 17 or 18 driver with rears ranging from 65 to 72, and run animal motors. tach is your choice but most people run a mychron 3 or 4, if you buy a champ i have tires forsale .
Just moved out here from california to work with my uncle. I raced for appx 7 years with 1/4 midgets, mini cups and baby grands and won 8 nor-cal championships and 2 national championships. I recently had to stop back in CA. looking to start racing again out here at beechnut and im looking for some info. looking along the lines of a sr champ kart so any helpfull info on starting out or good deals on karts would be great!
